Alice Rolfe is a Bristol based artist and surface pattern designer. Alice grew up in Bristol, living just behind the much-loved Gloucester Road. With a focus on interesting colour combinations and a clean line, her drawings are vibrant, modern and fresh. All designs are hand drawn and then developed and made into products in her studio in Easton, Bristol. The environment is important to Alice. The cards are FSC certified, and the prints are made from recycled card.

Using traditional methods, natural ingredients and essential oils Backwell Botanicals offers soaps, candles and lips balms in scents and flavours ranging from the distinctly nuzzle-able through fresh and fruity and all the way to the down right exotic. Equally important is delivering this whilst leaving only the gentlest ripple effect on the environment. And so with this firmly in mind all ingredients are vegan friendly, cruelty free, palm oil free and ethically sourced.

Crafted from an orchard blend consisting of 9 + very well known cider apples, once blended and matured sparks a lovely leaf of the trade. Joe has managed to source apples from orchards once used by Brakes Cider 50 years ago - creating exceptionally good cider.

That was it …they were completely hooked!

This began a brewing journey that started on a 200L kit through the back of that same bar, before developing into a cuckoo brewery operation known as Left Handed Giant. Melanie Wickham is a lino printer based in Bristol. Melanie trained as an Illustrator, graduating in 1997 and has been carving out lino hares, cats, spiders, plants and otters ever since. Melanie’s printmaking is based on drawings she makes which are then transferred onto the lino block, carved out, before inking up and hand burnishing the back of the paper to create a print. Melanie works in limited editions, with each lino print being titled, numbered and signed on the front.

They bought a truckload of English grapes from a lovely little vineyard in sunny Essex (Sandyford Vineyard) and have produced a fine rosé wine which they've blended into a Spritzer.

Their cheese straws contain more cheese (min 37%) than any other cheese straw available in the UK today.

Waggle & Hum was founded with the desire to produce local honey that is straight from the hive, nothing added just real honey. The honey farm began in 2018 when Jamie decided to naturally progress his passion for beekeeping into a profession.

The team at Wiper and True first fell in love with brewing on the stove at home, surrounded by pots, pans and raw ingredients. Tinkering endlessly, they studied the ancient art of their vocation. Nomadically brewing around the country, they learned from fantastically generous, knowledgeable artisans, honing our craft along the way. They now operate out of St Werburghs, Bristol, which is where they focus on our core range of beers, constantly refining the recipes to bring you an ever evolving, perfect pour.

The Fussell family have been farming in Somerset for generations and set up the Fussels Fine Food Company in 2005 selling their own rapeseed oil as a West Country alternative to imported olive oils. Head up by main man Andy, the Fussells oversee every aspect of their oil production, from sowing to cold pressing and bottling and because they store the seed, not the oil, what they bottle and sell as Fussels single cold pressed extra virgin oil is always incredibly fresh.

Heavenly Hedgerows began life 13 years ago. Set up nearly 13 years ago, owner Chris Westgate has grown the business organically around her family. All Chris's produce is hand made in small batches in her West Country farmhouse, without the use of commercial pectins or essence. Their liqueurs are made using real fruit and are stepped for a year (or longer!) before decanting. They are members of the Guild of Fine Food and the Association of Foragers.
