May sees us at Boxlocal celebrating all things gluten free, in a nod to Coeliac Awareness month. Being free of gluten no longer means that there has to be any compromise on flavour or variety; quite the contrary, as we look to explore some of the delicious gluten free options that you could add into a Boxlocal hamper, at any time of year.

Next up, we turn our attention to a sweet treat. With Cocoa Libre delivering on the GF, DF and NF – that’s gluten free, dairy free and Nut Free, yet still coming through on the taste. Cocoa Libre are a fellow North Somerset resident based in Yatton. Originally founded by a mum who was frustrated at the lack of safe chocolate options for her children with dietary requirements, so took the matter into her own hands. Now Cocoa Libre have been seen in many a publication (think Vogue, The Guardian, Women’s Health), continuing in their mission to supply delicious chocolate suited to a variety of dietary requirements, plus looking beautiful in the process. Be it the Milk and Dark Chocolate Raspberry Chocolate Slab (100g) or the Honeycomb Chocolate Slab (100g) you, or your hamper recipient, won’t be disappointed.
And for those who like to have a tipple, there are an array of gluten free options to include in your hamper from Arbor Ales Mosaic Gluten Free Pale Ale, brewed just down the road in Bristol – Arbor are proud to be one of the only breweries in the UK packaging their beer in pint cans, offering you value for money right there. Other fantastic options are Bristol Beer Factory's Infinity beer and Lost & Grounded Keller Pils. Spoilt for choice!
Alternatively check out our gin providers, both Shipshape and Bristol Fashion Gin and 6 ‘O Clock gin offer a delicious aperitif. Shipshape and Bristol Fashion gin is a small batch London gin, made with Flax Bourton honey, grapefruit and locally grown fennel, born in a kitchen just a few miles away from Boxlocal HQ in Long Ashton, North Somerset add a 50ml taster bottle to a hamper and you won’t be disappointed. Or perhaps you’d like to give an on the go gift, which is ready made – look no further than 6 ‘O Clock Gin which offers the classic London dry gin and tonic tin, or a slightly more exotic London dry gin with mango, ginger and lime to spice things up – 6 ‘O Clock gin is founded in good ol’ Bristol and its roots can be found in a fruit farm, when the misshapes were made into fruit liqueurs, onwards sloe gin was experimented with and then with a new generation in town, the gin recipe of today was refined and perfected using a carefully selected range of botanicals. Delish!
